Juliette Blightman’s new performance ‘All of it, and the sky’ brings her practice into motion reimagining drawing as something worn, sounded, and experienced in real time. Part of the Centre Pompidou’s programming at Drawing Lab, Paris the performance will take place on Sunday 25 January at 5pm.
Inspired by her ongoing series of communication tower drawings, the work borrows the format of a runway show - moving between electronic signals, intimacy, and physical presence.
Large-scale drawings inhabit the space alongside garments designed by Blightman, unfolding to a specially commissioned soundtrack by London-based composers Wayne Binitie and Art Lewy. Featuring Anatole Chartier, Madeline Tual, Yu Hsuan Chang, Kenza Kabisso, and Lucas Resende.
